I’ll get down to the point. I jut read an article on Life Site News and frankly, I’m quite angry.
Now, before I get started, I want to say I love everyone. I may not like you, or agree with you on everything. In fact, I might even disagree with everything you have to say but I believe that all human beings deserve respect and I will treat you with the respect you deserve.
And I don’t want to step on anyone’s beliefs, but here we go. 😛
The article mentioned above stated that Florence High School in Colorado allows a “transgender” boy into the girls bathrooms. The girls are saying that he has harassed them, but the school denies it. The officials in the school told the girls that if they were uncomfortable with the boy in their bathroom, then they can use a staff bathroom which is quite far away from many classes.
These “civil rights” movements are affecting straights.
Now, why do I believe that being gay/transgender is wrong?
First, we need to go back to the roots.
If there is a God, everything matters. If there is no God, nothing matters.
I believe there is a God and I believe that everyone has a purpose and were born into whatever situation they are living in for a reason. You were born male? Deal with it. You were born female? Deal with it.
Guys, you were given certain traits for a reason. It’s pretty much sacrilegious to try and change who you are. Being a woman is tough, ladies. But guess what! It’s pretty flipping amazing too. We rule society. We set the standards.
Why is society crumbling? Because we dropped the bar, ladies. We aren’t forcing the men to treat us with respect. And that’s why the situation above is happening. Someone allowed that boy into the girls’ bathroom. And now the morally straight are suffering from this.
This is disturbing.
It’s not right for that school to make several girls (who, by the way, have the only right to be in the girls’ bathroom) use a SINGLE bathroom FAR AWAY from where their classes take place because a BOY (who is very confused) is in their bathroom.
Homosexuality and transgenderisation (is that even a word? O_o) is wrong. I don’t care what people have to say about it.
I don’t agree with them. But I love them. Because God made them.
Now. With that being said, I’d like to make one point clear: being attracted to girls if you’re female is not intrinsically wrong. And being attracted to boys if you’re male is not intrinsically wrong either. I do believe that your sexual orientation not something you can help. HOWEVER, if you treat a girl, ladies, as you would a man and if you treat a boy, gentlemen, as you would a woman, that is wrong.
It is when you indulge in these thoughts, feelings, etc. that it becomes a sin.
Everyone has a cross (or a challenge) that they must deal with in life. Whether it’s an annoying sibling, difficult parent, or your sexual orientation, these are things you specifically need to deal with. It’s not wrong unless you indulge in it.
Now, what does the Bible say about homosexuality?
“If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense.” (NLT)
1 Corinthians 6:9-11
Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people-none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (NLT)
1 Timothy 1:8-10
Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine … (ESV)
With all this being said, I’d like to make one final point: even if you have sinned, remember that God knows your heart. He knows if you are sorry for your sins and, if you are, He forgives you. You are never too far gone to come back. 🙂
But don’t be prideful about it. Pride won’t help anything. 😉
So, hopefully, that got my point across. Our society is immoral and the decisions of bad people affect the good.
I think this is something share-worthy. 🙂
“The danger for us is to forget that we are sinners.”
